Holiday – October 8, 2012 – Canada and US
On Monday October 8, 2012, Thanksgiving Day will be observed in Canada and Columbus Day in the US. Please note the following:
Canada:
- All banks, transfer agents, exchanges, clearing corporations and securities depositories will be closed
US:
- Banks will be closed
- Exchanges will remain open for trading only (non-settlement day)
The following settlement schedule will be in effect:

Please note that RBC Investor Services’ offices will be closed on Monday, October 8, 2012. However, a core team will be available in our Toronto office, from 08:30 to 13:00 Eastern Standard Time (EST), to facilitate settlement in international markets.
